PowerChute plusworks with APC UPSs to provide a complete safe systemshutdown and user notification in the event of an extended powerinterruption. PowerChute plus includes two long files for quick analysisof power problems: the Event Log and Data Log. The Event Log allowsadministrators to view each power event that occurs, along with date andtime of occurrence. The Data Log record UPS battery and utility powerinformation at user defined intervals. A graphical user interface isprovided and displays UPS/power status information in a graphical formatfor fast diagnostics. Through pull-down menus, administrators maycustomize UPS operating parammeters such as power sensitivity and UPStransfer voltages to best fit their environment, as well as schedule UPSself-tests regular intervals to ensure system integrity. PowerChute plusfeaatures FlexEvents, which allow adminstrators to customize up to sevenreactions PowerChute plus can make to any power event. Possible reactionsinclude: log event, notify administrators, notify user, run a commandfile, page users, send e-mail, and down the server.
